Dr. Song is our principal, founder, and teacher here at our academy. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto and has a PhD in mathematics. He has over 25 years of experience teaching as a professor and tutor. Dr. Song has a wide range of expertise: He is able to teach mathematics, physics, and computer science at university levels. Dr. Song, like all of our staff, is an embodiment of our motto, and truly wishes for the success of all his students.

Here at our academy, all of our teachers have at least a Master’s degree from Canadian universities (UoT, McGill, Western, McMaster, etc) in their respective subjects. They all have years of experience, and all embody our motto that “education is not only teaching, but also caring.” While offering the same level of attention and engagement that a traditional one-on-one tutor may give, the certified educators at the academy utilize numerous different learning mediums and resources to deliver the most effective learning experience to individual students. They will all ensure that you/your child can not only keep up with your curriculums, but gain confidence and enjoyment from the subjects of interest.

One of the largest benefits of group studies is that students motivate each other to do well and stay focused. Our teachers make sure to be attentive of all students and keep record of their progress at the academy and at their respective schools.

Homework is provided by the instructor at the end of every class. The homework material is there to help the student consolidate the knowledge he/she learned in class or to identify any gaps in knowledge. Refer to our how-to video on homework submission!

Of course! We believe academies should not give students that are already succeeding a bigger advantage, but help challenged students catch up. Every student is welcome. Even if it may take more time, we will accommodate the students’ needs. Whether that be having longer classes, having one-on-one classes, or going in slower paces, we will make sure the student feels comfortable while steadily improving.

Our instructors and education coordinators will closely monitor your child's progress and keep you informed throughout your child's academic career at the academy. The worksheets and other materials given in class are laid out and assigned in a logical way, so that you can easily monitor your child's progress.

Our academy offers seminars every semester for both students and parents. The topics of the seminars cover a wide range, from teaching about proper study habits to informative discussions comparing different high school programs.

No worries! We can arrange a makeup class for you or your child. Please keep in mind that if you or your child will be absent for a class, you must give a notice at least 24 business hours in advance by written notice (email or text message). Although there will be no refunds, credit, or partial payment, the student can schedule for a makeup class prior to the end of the month (limited to one makeup class per month). No make-up class will be available to students who miss a class day without any prior notice.
